Does the software support digital imaging?
Yes. PeakDent supports digital imaging with Schick and Gendex. If you have other digital imaging hardware we can integrate that for you.
Does the software support electronic claims?
Yes. PeakDent supports electronic claims through Trojan Professional Services. Additionally PeakDent also supports Insurance Benefit Services from Trojan.
Why is PeakDent offering hardware with their Practice Management Software?
To fully optimize the functionality of the software we need to make sure it runs on a specific operating system. Therefore we pre-install the software on the hardware we provide so the dental offices don't face any compatibility issues.
Does PeakDent provide hardware for each user? What if the offices are in different locations?
Each location is provided with 1 Server (hardware) on which PeakDent is pre-installed. The license is valid for 10 users in each location. The dental office has to provide the necessary hardware (Computers and Local Area Networking) for additional users. The advantage of PeakDent is that you don't need to install any additional client software on each workstation.
Each location will have to buy additional license of PeakDent. Contact us for rates for multiple location installations.
Does the cost include installation and licensing fee for multi-user?
The cost of the whole package includes hardware with PeakDent pre-installed and multi-user license. As a promotional offer, we provide 4 hour training free of cost at the location.
Will this software work in an Orthodontic or other specialty offices?
No. PeakDent is designed for General Dentistry.
Is there a warranty on hardware provided by PeakDent?
We are resellers for Dell Computers. The server is Dell Computer and comes with 1-year warranty that will be transferred to the owner of the software.
Is conversion of other software data available?
Conversions for many popular software are available but PeakDent will work with the office for customized data conversion.
What about the network & security if the offices are in different locations?
Each location will have to purchase a valid license of PeakDent. But it can be customized to the specifications of the office so the doctors can access the different locations remotely if they have the meet the requirements for Remote Access. Please contact PeakDent for further details.
What about the trial version? What if I don't like the software?
As PeakDent provides hardware and software as a package, the dental office can try PeakDent for 30 days. There will be a small deposit for the hardware that will be returned if the office returns the hardware in good condition after 30 days.
Will PeakDent support the facility of HMO capitation?
Yes. PeakDent will support the HMO capitation in the next release.
Can we add more columns in the scheduler if we have more than 4 doctors?
Yes. You can add up to 20 doctors in the scheduler. Besides many features can be customized as per your office requirements. Please contact PeakDent for an estimate to enable those options.
